My Name is Bianca Stanton. I am based in Ballarat, Australia and I specialise in Graphic Design and Illustration. I work with clients to help them achieve their design and illustration aesthetics. I take on projects for commercial clients that might include branding and print design. I also enjoy working with individual clients creating wedding invitations, birth announcements and nursery wall art.
A bit about me
I was born in South Africa where I grew up with an abundance of wildlife in my back yard. I remember having monkeys swinging from trees in our back yard. There were rather large baboons that sat on our fence and occasionally we would have visits from tortoise, deer and porcupine.
When I was eleven we emigrated to New Zealand where everything is lush and green and where the animals are adorable and cuddly. Eventually I moved to Australia and now live in the small regional city of Ballarat with my husband Mark and our two boys Oliver and Hugo. I feel that where I have lived in the past has had a strong influence on my work; I am heavily inspired by nature and find satisfaction and contentment in drawing and painting animals.
My Skills
I have a B.A in Graphic Design and over the years, I have worked hard to develop strong illustration skills. I worked in the design industry for a number of years where I specialised in wedding stationery and branding for small businesses. I have been illustrating for my own business for years and I now I am pleased to offer this to clients of Marbia Studios. I will create illustrations for personal items like event invitations, stationary and personalised wall art. I also offer my services to commercial clients for product illustrations, event branding and illustrations for websites and flyers.
